Obligation of Taxpayers to Communicate with the Tax Office in electronic form expands as of 01.01.2015

On the basis of the amendment to the General Fiscal Code (Act No. 280/2009 Coll.), the taxpayers whose databoxes are activated shall file certain motions addressed to the Tax Office in electronic form only, i.e. via databox or e-mail signed with certified signature. This obligation also applies on taxpayers that are legally required to have their annual financial statements audited.

According to the Civil Procedure Code, the administrative costs of the proceedings (such as a postage) expended by the participant of the proceedings who is represented by an attorney shall be reimbursed in a flat rate of 300,- CZK as for one legal act. The participant who is not represented by the attorney must prove the exact amount of expended administrative costs.

Pursuant to the provision of Section 142 of the Civil Procedure Code (Act No. 99/1963 Coll.), the court shall provide the participant achieving complete success in the matter with the reimbursement of costs necessary for the efficient exercising of a right against a participant unsuccessful in the matter. The costs of proceedings include also the court fee.
