With efficiency form 1.1.2014, the amendment No. 293/2013 Coll. changes beside other thing a subject competence of courts at commercial disputes in which a made claim for financial fulfillment exceeds amount of 100.000,- CZK. Until 31.12.2013 these disputes had been solved at regional courts.

In the past there appeared the disputes in cases when the claims made at the court exceeded the limit of 100.000,- CZK only in the total but these claims itself did not reach the value of 100.000,- CZK. Newly the disputes in commercial cases will be solved in the first instance at district courts, independently on the amount of the financial fulfillment.
