Data-safe - new service within the data boxes

The document delivered into the data box is possible to use as the original only in the case when it is “converted” before the lapse of 90 days after reading it, i.e. it was transformed from the electronic document into paper form, to which the verifying clause was added.

Today it is not possible to save the data message for longer period and the data message is always erased after the lapse of 90 days after reading it. The saving of document for the period longer than the lapse of 90 days is newly possible only within the data safe. The Czech Post offers nowadays the new adding service in the area of data boxes. About this possibility how to use this service the Czech post let informed all users. The service is automatically saving a data message in the data safe with the fact that it depends on the user if he/she the message erases. In this way saved documents will be possible to “convert” whenever, also after the lapse of 90 days after reading it. Nowadays the service of the data safe is activated for all users gratis for a probation period within 2 month in the range of 50 data messages. If the user is interested in this service also after splitting of 2 month, he/she must sign the contract about the data safe. This contract is annual and is possible to prolong it repeatedly for one year more. The price of the data saving file distinguishes according to the amount of saved data messages, where the saving of one data message for one year costs from 5,90 to 7,20 CZK incl. WAT. In the data safe it is possible to save from 50 up to 5000 of data messages. There is also possibility to use so called credit data safe, when the payment in advanced is charged for saving of chosen amount of data messages for the estimated period.
