Changes to Recording and Notification of Work Related Injuries

As of 1st January 2015 amendment of the Government Regulation No. 201/2010 Coll., on the Method of Recording, Notification and Sending Records about Injuries (hereinafter referred to as “the Regulation”) came into effect.

The employer is obliged (among other things) to specify the injury and injured parties of a body in accordance with new annex No. 3 of the Regulation in the book of injuries as well as in the notification about the injury.

Another novelty is that the employer is not obliged to notify the work related injury immediately to the insurance company of the injured employee anymore. But the obligation of the employer to send the insurance company the notification about the injury that happened in the past month remains.
