Beneficial owner of corporations

From January 1, 2017, legal entities will have a new obligation to know data about their beneficial owners and to report them to other legitimate subjects (authorities, etc.). The purpose of this measure is to provide an overview of the natural person in the background of the legal entity.

In addition, from January 1, 2018, legal entities will be required to register the data of their beneficial owners in a special evidence of the registration court. This evidence will not be public, but legitimate subjects will be able to access it at any time.
