Extensive Amendment of the Business Corporations Act

On February 13, 2020 an Act No. 33/2020 Coll. that modifies the Act No. 90/2012 Coll., Business Corporations Act, was published in the Collection of Laws. The amendment comes into force on January 1, 2021. This extensive amendment brings a lot of changes regarding the business corporations. In connection with this amendment of the Business Corporations Act also another legal regulations will be amended (for example the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, or Act No. 304/2013 Coll., on the Public Registers of Legal and Natural Persons).
