Change of Minimal Wage

The Government of the Czech Republic has enacted a regulation that changes the regulation No. 567/2006 Coll., on the minimum wage.

With effect as of 1st January 2016 the minimum wage for the weekly working hours in the extent of 40 hours will be increased to CZK 9.900 monthly or CZK 58,70 hourly.

There will be also a change of the minimum wage for the employee with the disability pension. The minimum wage for the weekly working hours in the extent of 40 hours will be increased to CZK 9.300 monthly or CZK 55,10 hourly.

With regard to this change, the lowest rates of guaranteed wage, under which the various work-categories are graduated and valued according to the complexity, responsibility and laboriousness, will also be increased.
